In 2014 there was a kickstarter campaing for a never ending slinky machine.
It didn't reach it's funding goal. Some time later I decided to build my own.
The belt was made by sewing together a piece of anti-slip mat. I bent a motor bracket and two guides to keep the slinky in it's tracks from sheet metal.
In this picture you can see generous amounts of electrical tape being used to help keeping the belt in track and the potentiometer which was used for controlling the motor speed.
All things considered I think it was a great success!
